Instructions
1. Put a maximum of 1/4 cup of popcorn to the bowl and cover it with the lid.
2. Cook in a microwave oven for nearly 1.5 - 2 minutes. Switch off when the time between pops exceeds 3 seconds.
3. Attention!!! Do not try to remove the bowl with your bare hand! It will be hot and let-off steam once the lid is open. Use the special handles by the side of the silicone popper to remove it from the microwave.
4. Cooking time may vary, depending on the capacity of the microwave and the type of kernels. Do practice a few times until you are able to note down the perfect cooking time.
Don’ts
1. Don't wait until every kernel is popped or else some will burn. You can pop the leftover kernels afterwards in the microwave.
2. The time between making perfect popcorn and burnt popcorn is very short. It is better to remove it sooner than later.
#1: Dietary Popcorn
1/4 C Kernels + 1/8 tsp Salt. Mix salt with kernels before popping
#2: Fluffy Oil Popcorn
1/4 C Kernels + 1/8 tsp Salt +1 TBS Canola Oil
Mix all the ingredients together in the popper before popping.
#3: Wilton Butter Popcorn
1/4 C Kernels + 1/8 tsp Salt +1 TBS Canola Oil +1/8 tsp Wilton Butter Flavoring
Combine all the ingredients in the popper and mix them with a spoon before popping.
#4 Kettle Popcorn
1/4 C Kernels + 1/8 tsp Salt +1 TBS Canola Oil + 1/8 tsp Wilton Butter Flavoring + 1TBS + 1 tsp
Granulated White Sugar
Mix all the ingredients with a spoon to evenly coat, before popping.
#5 Splenda Kettle Popcorn
1/4 C Kernels + 1/8 tsp Salt +1 TBS Canola Oil + 1/8 tsp Wilton Butter Flavoring + 6 (tsp sized)
packages of Splenda
Mix the Splenda with all the ingredients before popping.
#6 Sweet Popcorn
1/4 C Kernels + 3 tsp sugar (Braun or icing sugar)+1 TBS Canola Oil + 4 tsp Butter
If you are after a very sweet and buttery result, increase the butter and icing sugar by a tablespoon or more, just ensure you maintain it's liquidity in order to prevent burning. Enjoy!
